Arcon36 Cyberpunk er lasta opp i skya. Det vert Cyberpunk i Cyberspace.
Me kjem ikkje til å arrangera Arcon på Hartvig Nissen Vgs i år. Reint fysisk er Arcon avlyst. Såpevask og pappbrikker funkar dårleg, og smittevern er nett no hovudfokus.
Det er trist at me ikkje kan møtast for å stenga oss inne på gamle, varme, klamme klasse- og grupperom, med trestolar, låge pultar og vindauge du ikkje kan opna. I staden må du benka deg i favorittstolen din, med pc, headset og det du måtte ha lyst på av mat og drikke. I år må du krydra toasten din sjølv, og ingen kjem til å koma stormande inn på soverommet ditt midt på natta (om du ikkje har ungar, sambuarar, husdyr eller innbrot). I juni lagar me ein Discord-kanal. Ein stor Discord-kanal. Frå 19. juni-21.juni vert det fullt køyr med brettspel, rollespel og sosiale aktivitetar. I år bør det vera nok grupperom til alle rollespelgruppene. I år kan de ringa kvarandre når de skal gjera alliansar i Advanced Civilizaton. De kan skriva hemmelege meldingar til kvarandre og de kan velta bordet om de vert sinte. I år er det nok frispel-område. I år er det BYOB i puben, og me sender dei som har lyst til å spela Cards Against Humanity til ein eigen kanal.
Det er mange virtuelle bord-simulatorar der ute. Roll20, Tabletop Simulator, BoardgameArena, Tabletopia, FantasyGrounds og sikkert fleire. Desse tek me i bruk. Nokre av dei er gratis, andre krever at du kjøper eit medlemsskap, at du kjøper programmet, at du eig spelet eller at du spelar med nokon som har kjøpt spel eller medlemsskap. Dersom du vil arrangera eit spel eller ein turnering på Arcon, er det ditt val korleis spelet eller turneringa vert gjennomført. We will not be hosting Arcon at Hartvig Nissen vgs this year. Physically Arcon is cancelled. Water, soap and cardboard cutouts are a bad mix, and health and safety is our primary focus. It’s really sad that we cannot gather in an old school, with warm and stuffy classrooms, on wooden chairs, low desks and windows we cannot open. Instead you have to make due with your favourite chair, with a computer, a head-set and whatever food and drinks you find in your fridge . You’ll have to season your grilled cheese sandwich yourself, and your sleep will not be disturbed by someone running into the room you sleep (unless you’ve got children, pets, house mates, or burglars)! This June we’ll set up a Discord-channel. A large one. From 19th to 21st of June it’s going to be filled up with board games, role playing games, and other social activities. This year there will be enough roleplaying rooms. You can phone your allies in Advanced Civilization. You can send secret messages and even flip the table if you get mad. There’s enough room for free playing outside the program, and in the pub it’s BYOB. And since we’re this nice – we’re dedicating a channel for those who just want to play Cards Against Humanity.
There’s a lot of virtual tabletops out there. Roll20, TableTop Simulator, BoardgameArena, Tabletopia, FantasyGrounds and probably more. Some of them are free, some require a subscription, that you buy the program, that you buy stuff in the program, that you play with someone with a subscription, or who owns the game/program. If you want to host a game or tournament on Arcon, it’s up to you how you want to do it. Register it under Spillregistrering and write down what participants need. We provide a place (discord), list of people who want to play and a time slot so you find someone that wants to play with you (and we might be able to find some prizes).
